Christopher Kwolek, MD, MBA, FACS has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Christopher currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at both Mangrove Management Partners and The Vascular Care Group, starting in July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Co-Chairman of the Perioperative Products and Technology Steering Committee at Mass General Brigham from January 2016 to June 2021. Christopher also worked as a Senior Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2002 to June 2021. In addition, they served as the Chair of the Department of Surgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital from January 2016 to May 2020. Early in their career, they were the Chief of Vascular Surgery and Program Director at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine from August 1995 to April 2002.

Christopher Kwolek, MD, MBA, FACS began their education at UCLA in 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics in 1983. Christopher then attended the University of California, San Francisco from 1983 to 1987, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following this, they pursued further medical training at Harvard Medical School - New England Deaconess Hospital from 1987 to 1993, completing a General Surgery Residency Program and achieving board certification from the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. From 1993 to 1995, Dr. Kwolek continued their surgical specialization at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital, completing a Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program and obtaining board certification in Vascular Surgery. Finally, in 2017, they enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management and graduated in 2019 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
