Ama Boateng

Ama Boateng has extensive experience in community engagement and support roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Business Support Specialist and Community Engagement Coordinator at the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce since April 2022, Ama contributes to the NYC Small Business Resource Network, focusing on strengthening the economy and assisting small businesses. Previous roles include Service in Schools Coordinator with the NYC Department of Education, Civic Engagement Community Navigator at The New York Public Library, and Outreach Specialist at the NYC Department of Social Services. Ama's early career involved working with Harlem Children's Zone, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and other organizations, emphasizing civic engagement, community outreach, and service to diverse populations.
