Melissa Cocco

Melissa Cocco is the VP and Dean of Enrollment Management at Manhattan School of Music. Melissa has held this position since July 2016. Prior to that, they were the director of admission at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music from July 2010 to July 2016. Before that, they were the associate director of admission at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music from July 2007 to July 2010.

Before their work in the Bay Area, Melissa was the associate director of admission and financial aid at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music from July 2004 to July 2007. Melissa began their career in 2003 as a wine clerk at Big Red Liquor.

Melissa Cocco has both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from two different schools. Melissa has a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College and a Master of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.

Melissa Cocco reports to James Gandre, President. They are on a team with Susan Madden - VP for Advancement, Joyce Griggs - EVP & Provost, and Carol Matos - VP for Administration & HR.
