Xinyu Liang

Xinyu Liang is a skilled Power System Engineer currently working at Transgrid since May 2024. In conjunction with this role, Xinyu is also a Graduate Power System Engineer at Manitoba Hydro International and PSCAD™ since July 2023, contributing to network model development and integration initiatives. Xinyu has a strong academic background, having served as a Casual Academic at UNSW from June 2019 to August 2023, where responsibilities included tutoring, mentoring, and marking across various engineering courses. Additionally, Xinyu has instructed a short course on Grid Integration of Renewables using PSCAD for UNSW in collaboration with Aurecon. Xinyu holds an MPhil in Power System and Microgrids, an engineering degree from UNSW, and a Bachelor's in Microelectronics from Tianjin University.
