Michael Derevnin

Michael Derevnin, P.Eng, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital technology and geomatics. Currently serving as a Senior Digital & Technology Business Partner at Manitoba Hydro since July 2016, Michael facilitates the strategic interface between IT and business units, focusing on digital and technology strategy, initiative prioritization, and risk management. Prior to this role, Michael led the Geomatics Department at ATLIS Geomatics and has held various positions in land surveying and GIS, including Project Manager at Kav Medida Surveying and GIS LTD and Head of Mapping Surveying and GIS for the Israel Land Authority. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Natural Gas & Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Geo-Information Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
