Dave Sheahan

Dave Sheahan has a diverse work experience in various aviation-related roles. Dave started their career as a Cabin Service Manager at Aer Lingus in 1996 and held this position until February 2021. In November 2013, they also served as a Safety & Emergency Procedure Instructor at Aer Lingus until March 2021. Additionally, Dave worked as a Safety Management Systems Officer at Aer Lingus from September 2016 to October 2021.

In 2014, Dave joined International Airlines Group (IAG) as a Safety Management Systems (SMS) Officer and remained in this role until July 2021.

Between March 2021 and September 2021, they worked as an Aviation Consultant at skypeople.

Since July 2021, Dave has been employed at Manna Drone Delivery, initially as an Operations & Training Manager, and currently as a Safety & Training Manager. Manna Drone Delivery specializes in 3-minute air delivery using custom-developed drones.

Dave Sheahan has a diverse education history. Dave completed an MSc. in Management at Dublin City University from 2020 to 2022. In 2003 and 2004, they attended Technological University Dublin for PPL Ground School. Dave also pursued Business Studies at Dublin Business School from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, Dave obtained an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (QMS) certification from IQC in 2017. Dave attended St. Paul's College from 1988 to 1994. In terms of additional certifications, Dave obtained a Safety Management Systems certification from the Irish Aviation Authority in September 2022, a Specific Category: STS/PDRA Theory Course & Examination certification from the Irish Aviation Authority in February 2022, and an A1/A3 UAS Operator Certificate from the Irish Aviation Authority in June 2021. Dave is also a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society with an MRAeS designation.
