Martin Søgaard Nielsen

Martin Søgaard Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Martin Søgaard most recently worked at Mannaz I Education, Consulting, and Outsourcing, starting in 2019 as the CFO and later taking on the role of Interim CEO from 2020 until May 2020. Prior to that, they were the Finance Director at Copenhagen Economics from 2015 to 2019.

Before that, Martin held various positions at Gouda Rejseforsikring, including Director of Business Development/Travel and CFO, where they were responsible for finance and accounts, controlling, budgeting, underwriting, corporate strategy, and managing a team of seven employees.

Martin also served as the CFO at Studios A/S from 2008 to 2012, overseeing finance and accounts, business development, investment calculations, administration, legal issues, and HR. Martin Søgaard was also responsible for the finance in a Norwegian and Swedish affiliated company.

Earlier in their career, Martin worked at Uniscrap A/S as the CFO and a member of the Management Board. Martin Søgaard managed finance and accounts, controlling, budgeting, investment calculations, administration, legal issues, insurance, IT, and a team of 10 employees.

Martin began their career at E&Y as a Corporate Finance Manager, where they worked on mergers and acquisitions, valuation, due diligence, and business development projects. Martin Søgaard also worked at Danisco as a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager, assisting the Management Board with business development, sales, valuation, due diligence, and strategic analysis.

Martin Søgaard Nielsen obtained a Diploma in Finance and Informatics from Copenhagen Business School in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Business and Languages from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, graduating in 1990. In 1985, Martin completed their education at Vestfyns Gymnasium. Martin Søgaard started their educational journey at Rasmus Rask Skolen, where they studied from 1972 to 1982.
