Paul Monaghan Msc Aiema

Paul Monaghan MSc AIEMA has a diverse work experience history. Paul is currently the Head of Sustainability at Mannok since June 2023, previously serving as a Sustainability Manager from February 2021 to June 2023. Before joining Mannok, Paul worked at Valeo from October 2018 to February 2021 as an Environment, Health & Safety Manager and Covid-19 Compliance Officer. Paul was responsible for implementing safety protocols and providing guidance to employees during the pandemic. In 2018, they briefly worked as the Head Chef & Manager at Osta Cafe and Wine Bar. Prior to that, Paul held the position of Chef De Partie at Anderson's Grill & Bar in 2017. From 2016 to 2018, they owned and operated FEED Cafe and Restaurant, which was known for using local produce. Earlier in their career, Paul worked as an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager at Elanco from July 2008 to June 2015, as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Fort Dodge Animal Health from June 2005 to June 2008, and as an Environmental Officer at Allied Irish Beef Processors (AIBP) in March 1996.

Paul Monaghan MSc AIEMA has a diverse education history in the field of environmental protection, corporate sustainability, social innovation, and ethics. Their education journey began with a Certificate in Applied Biology from the Institute of Technology, Sligo in 1990-1992. Subsequently, they obtained a Diploma in Pollution Assessment & Control from Atlantic Technological University in 1992-1993.

Paul pursued further education in health and safety, completing a City & Guilds degree from SOLAS (formerly FAS - Foras Aiseanna Saothair) in 1997-1998. In 2001-2002, they received a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from Atlantic Technological University.

Continuing their focus on environmental protection, Paul obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Protection from Atlantic Technological University in 2003-2005. Paul further advanced their qualifications by completing a Master of Science degree in Environmental Protection from the same university in 2006-2007.

To broaden their expertise in corporate sustainability, social innovation, and ethics, Paul attended Imperial College London, where they engaged in studies relevant to these fields in 2020. In 2022, they attended the University of Cambridge to sharpen their high impact leadership skills.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Paul Monaghan MSc AIEMA has earned certifications as an Associate Member from ICRS | The Institute of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability in February 2023, and an Associate Membership from IEMA in June 2022.
