Jessie Batchelder

Jessica Batchelder is an experienced fisheries and aquaculture professional currently serving as the Fisheries Program Manager at Manomet since May 2021. Previously, Jessica held positions including Coach for Alpine Ski Racing at the Park City Ski and Snowboard Club, Aquaculture Manager at the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership, and Farm and Research Intern at Taylor Shellfish Company Inc. Jessica's extensive background includes conducting research on scallop populations, managing oyster gear experiments, and leading educational programming related to marine science. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science with a Marine Concentration from Colby College and has furthered academic knowledge through a program focused on Comparative Ecology and Conservation in Ecuador.
