Nick Denison

Nick Denison has a diverse work experience in various industries. Nick started their career in 2002 as a Crew member at McDonald's, where they gained experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Sales Representative for Commercial Finance at AR Cash Flow. In 2014, they joined PayBySuper as a Practice Manager, responsible for business development and platform management.

In 2015, Denison became a Senior Account Executive and Team Manager for Sales & Digital at Continuum Recruitment, specializing in sales and technical recruitment for fast-growing tech companies. Nick concurrently worked as a Recruitment Business Partner for Continuum Recruitment at iVvy Pty Ltd from 2016 to 2017.

In 2018, Denison joined Contino as an Inside Sales Account Manager, later transitioning to the roles of Business Development Manager, Client Executive, and finally Client Principal. At Contino, they focused on enterprise acquisition, account management, and partner development primarily in the banking, finance, and public sector.

Denison also had involvement in the meetup community. From 2018, they co-organized the DevSecOps Meetup in Sydney, with a focus on quality and approximately 100+ attendees per meetup. Nick also co-organized the Tech Strategist Meetup.

In 2020, Denison joined CMD Solutions Australia as a Client Principal, a brand of Mantel Group. CMD Solutions Australia was recognized as the FSI Innovation Partner of the Year in 2023 and the AWS Services Partner of the Year in 2022.

Most recently, in 2020, Denison became a Client Principal at Mantel Group, utilizing their expertise in client management and innovation partnerships.

Nick Denison completed their education at UNSW from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Mining Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Knox Grammar School from 2001 to 2007 to complete their HSC. In addition to their formal education, Nick also obtained certifications such as AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business) and AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services in 2021. Nick also obtained the Cloud Practitioner AWS certification in July 2018.
