Heather Ferrara

Heather Ferrara has worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines from May 2015 to August 2016, where they led a team and conducted laboratory analysis. Heather then became a Metallurgical Engineer at Nucor Steel Decatur from May 2017 to April 2018, gathering and analyzing data to improve the efficiency of the plant and incorporating feedback from the production team. After that, they worked as a Project Engineer at Forte Analytical from March 2021 to June 2022, before joining Mantel Technologies in February 2023 as a Prototype Engineer.

Heather Ferrara graduated from Eaton High School in 2012 with an Honors diploma. In the same year, they also acquired a Certificate of Emergency Medical Technician - Basic from Aims Community College. From 2012-2017, Heather attended Colorado School of Mines where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering.
