Ted Sorom

Ted Sorom has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2016, they became the CEO & Co-founder of Mantle Inc., a company that provides 3D metal printing technology. From 2007 to 2016, they were the Founder & Chairman of the Board and CEO of Rixty, Inc., where they created a unique solution allowing consumers without credit cards to transfer cash online. In 2016, they also took on the role of Entrepreneur in Residence at SRI International. From 2004 to 2007, they were the Engineering Manager at Wild Planet Entertainment Inc., where they managed the product development of more than 65% of the products developed. From 1997 to 2004, they were the Chief Technical Officer at Light & Motion, where they led all of the product design and development.

Ted Sorom has a diverse educational background. Ted holds a Full-time MBA in Marketing & Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, a MSME in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a BA in Engineering from Dartmouth College.
