Carla Chugani, PhD, LPC has worked in various roles in the mental health field since 2009. Carla began their career as a Mental Health Counselor Intern at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 and then became a Mental Health Counselor at the same university in 2011. In 2014, they moved to Tampa Bay Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In 2016, they joined the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Clinical and Translational Science, as well as a Postdoctoral Scholar. Most recently, they were appointed Vice President of Clinical Content and Affairs at Mantra Health in 2022.
Carla Chugani, PhD, LPC completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University from 2008 to 2010. Carla also completed a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Opera from Mannes College, The New School for Music from 2002 to 2006. In 2001 to 2002, they attended the Cleveland Institute of Music for Voice and Opera.
