Jezree Friend

Jezree Friend has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Starting in 2010, Friend served in the United States Army as a Legal Non-Commissioned Officer Team Leader until 2016. In 2014, Friend worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Gannon University, where they conducted research and published studies. Friend also served as a Field Coordinator for the Campaign to elect Judge Cheryl Allen for Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2015.

In 2017, Friend worked as a Campaign Manager for Brenton Davis for Erie County Executive and Persinger for Mayor, leading both candidates to strong electoral performances. They crafted campaign strategies, managed staff and volunteers, and handled media and fundraising activities.

Currently, Friend holds the position of Senior Director of Public Affairs at the Manufacturer & Business Association, where they manage the government affairs department and oversee external communication efforts to build relationships with key stakeholders. They are also an Adjunct Professor at Gannon University.

Jezree Friend obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown in the years 2008 to 2010. Following that, in 2011, they pursued additional education in Paralegal Studies at the Adjutant General School US Army Soldier Support Institute. In 2010 to 2013, Jezree attended PennWest Edinboro, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Lastly, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Organizational Leadership at Gannon University.
