Brian Stormo

Brian Stormo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brian most recently served as an Executive Director and Lending Compliance Officer at Manufacturers Bank, where they established and implemented the compliance framework for a new digital bank. Prior to that, they worked at Wells Fargo, holding various roles such as VP Head of Personal Lending and Small Business Lending Originations Compliance and VP, Operational Risk Consultant 5. At Wells Fargo, they oversaw compliance and risk management of key business initiatives, including the successful implementation of the Paycheck Protection Program. Before Wells Fargo, Brian worked at Stream Global Services as a Service Specialist Team Lead, where they managed application and eligibility controls for government assistance programs. Brian also had prior experience at RMCN Credit Services and Angus-Palm in research and safety roles respectively. Overall, Brian Stormo has a strong background in compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Brian Stormo earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business and Sociology from the University of South Dakota, graduating in 2013. Brian is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, with an expected completion date in 2024. In terms of certifications, Brian obtained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation from the American Bankers Association in June 2019. Additionally, they completed the Executive Presence certification from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School in June 2023.
