Anita Keestra

Anita Keestra, JP, possesses extensive experience in industry engagement, academic leadership, and business development across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Industry Engagement Champion and Senior Lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology since October 2014, Anita has also held roles as Business Development Manager and Specialist. Additionally, Anita works as the General Manager for NZ Mathar Sangam and is involved with Toastmasters International as a leader of the Leading Ladies group. As the Managing Director and Principal Facilitator of Action Trainers & Consultants Ltd., Anita specializes in soft skills training and business consultancy. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration from Southern Cross University, a Graduate Diploma in Economic Development from Auckland University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Education from Massey University. Anita has also held various roles in community service and governance, including serving as a Justice of the Peace and deputy chair for the Auckland Council's Ethnic Peoples Advisory Panel.
