Steve Barban

Steve Barban, CIM, CFP, has extensive experience in investment management and financial planning, currently serving as President and Life Insurance Advisor at Gentry Capital Corporation since August 1988. In addition to overseeing a discerning investment firm tailored to high net worth individuals, Steve has been a Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Advisor with Gentry Capital/Manulife Securities Incorporated since October 2000, offering customized financial solutions through the exclusive Gentry Capital Un-Common Sense Theory©. Since May 2006, Steve has also held the role of President/Governor of the Navan Grads Junior A Hockey Club, focusing on the development of student-athletes for higher-level competition. Furthermore, Steve serves as President of a Dairy Queen franchise portfolio in Ottawa, which has been operating since October 1997. Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
