Halina Von Dem Hagen

Halina von dem Hagen is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President of Treasury and Capital Management at Manulife, a position held since 2007. In this role, Halina oversees the company’s global treasury and capital management efforts, having previously directed the Standard Life Integration program and served as Senior Vice President of Capital Management. Prior to Manulife, Halina worked at the Royal Bank of Canada, where responsibilities included Vice President of Capital Management and senior manager in Treasury and Risk Management. Halina holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Windsor. Additionally, Halina completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program, earning the ICD.D designation to prepare for board directorship.
