Jon Pedersen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Many Hands For Haiti since May 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at Principal Financial Group from 1985 to 2020. Jon'spositions at Principal Financial Group include Senior Talent Development Consultant, Human Resources Organizational Development Specialist, Senior Formal Learning Specialist (HR Development Programs), Senior Human Resources Generalist, Senior Performance Management Consultant, Human Resources Consultant, Training and Development Analyst, and Training and Development Assistant Analyst.

Jon Pedersen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Drake University. In February 2021, they obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society of Human Resources Management. Additionally, in July 2021, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI.
