Vaibhav Dani

Vaibhav Dani has extensive work experience in the field of information technology, with a focus on database architecture and development. Vaibhav started their career in 2001 as a Database Administrator and Application Developer at ODU, where they were responsible for production support and development DBA support for Oracle databases. From 2003 to 2010, Vaibhav worked at Old Dominion University in various roles, including Team Lead of Enterprise Database Architecture and Assistant Director of ODU. In these positions, they were responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-wide databases, implementing data architecture and policies, and providing technical and project leadership for database-related projects. Since 2018, Vaibhav has been working at MAP Communications as the Senior Vice President & CIO, where they oversee the design and deployment of corporate information systems and collaborates with the executive team to enhance business strategies through technology.

Vaibhav Dani's education history includes a Masters Degree (MS) in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from South Gujarat University, attending from 1995 to 1999. Vaibhav graduated from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in 1995, where they obtained their high school diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Vaibhav Dani has obtained various certifications. Vaibhav received the "CORPORATE GOVERNANCE: MAXIMIZE YOUR EFFECTIVENESS IN THE BOARDROOM" certification from Emeritus in January 2023. In December 2017, they earned the "Amazon Certified Solution Architect" certification from Amazon. In April 2016, they obtained the "ITIL® Foundation Certificate" from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In June 2014, they received the "PMP" certification from the Project Management Institute, and in May 2014, they obtained the "Project Management Professional (PMP)®" certification from the same institution. Prior to that, they obtained the "Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional" certification from Oracle in November 2008. In January 2005, they earned the "Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional - Version Retired" certification, also from Oracle. In June 2004, they obtained the "Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate" certification from Oracle.
