Marissa Alaniz

Marissa Alaniz is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in the arts, education, and virtual production. Currently serving as Room Producer for MAP Digital's MetaMeetings®, Marissa efficiently manages virtual conference environments and provides training for Zoom users. In the role of Director of New Play Development at Imaginarium Theatre Company Inc., Marissa enhances theater through sustainability and social consciousness while supporting emerging artists. Marissa has also served as a Wildlife Theatre Performer with the Wildlife Conservation Society, directed programs for young students at Flatbush Theatre Project, and worked as Interim Production Manager at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. An accomplished sales associate at The Evolution Store and a previous concierge at UDR - Opening Doors to Your Future, Marissa possesses a diverse skill set that includes budgeting, management, customer service, and event planning. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and Linguistics from New York University and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
