Dan Scott is a seasoned Design Manager and Engineer with extensive experience in hydropower and civil engineering. At MAP Projects since August 2017, Dan has successfully coordinated designs for six hydropower plant projects in Samoa and Vanuatu, integrating various hydraulic structures and mechanical equipment. Prior experience includes a secondment as a Senior Engineer at MTL, focusing on the geothermal steamfield of the Te Huka Unit 3 project, and work as a Hydropower Engineer at Renewables First Ltd, where Dan designed and assisted in the installation of multiple small hydropower plants in the UK. Dan's engineering journey began with roles as a Graduate Engineer at Riley Consultants Ltd and an Engineering Intern at McConnell Dowell. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering Studies in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from The University of Auckland.
