Claudia Couto

Claudia Couto is an English teacher who has been teaching at the Maple Bear Canadian School since February 2019. Prior to that, they taught at Colégio Kennedy from January 2012 to December 2013, and at Yazigi Internexus from January 2013 to December 2014. Claudia has also been self-employed as a private teacher since January 2007.

After completing high school, Claudia Couto attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul where they earned a Bachelor of Education. Claudia then went on to complete a post-graduate degree in Teacher Education and Professional Development from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Claudia has also completed several certification programs related to teaching, including courses on teaching English as a second language, teaching pronunciation, and teaching reading and writing skills to deaf and hearing students. Claudia has also completed certification programs in sociology and educational games.
