Stephen Lai

Stephen Lai is an experienced tax professional currently serving as a Tax Manager at Mapletree since January 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen worked at Blackstone from July 2017 to January 2022 as a Financial Tax Associate and Financial Tax Analyst, focusing on real estate taxation. Stephen also gained valuable experience at EY, holding positions as a Tax Staff Accountant from November 2015 to June 2017 and as a Tax Intern in the summer of 2014. Stephen holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from St. John’s University, where studies were completed from 2010 to 2015.
