Tran Viet Tung has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as an Auditor at KPMG US in 2006. Tran then moved to CLSA as an Assistant Manager in 2007, where they were part of a team to develop and test a system built to handle millions of trades across platforms and products for multiple international institutional stock brokerage firms. In 2010, they became an Investment Consultant & Assistant to Partner at TNK Capital Partners & MDKT Company Limited, where they worked in more than 20 deals with major local industrial players. In 2011, they became the Head of Board of Supervisors at Thien An Holding, where they monitored company financial movement and was in charge of monthly financial reporting to Singapore investor. In 2012, they Co-Founded and became a Director at Triip Pte. Ltd, a global travel platform that enables travelers to enjoy amazing tours passionately crafted by local experts. In 2014, they Co-Founded and Co-CEO'd Christina's, a team of close to 500 operating in 8 cities in Vietnam, providing awesome local experience to travelers around the world. In 2020, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Leroy Merlin, a multi-billion dollar home improvement conglomerate operating in 15 countries. Finally, in 2021, they became the Vietnam Country Head at Klook and Co-Founded Marathon Education.

Tran Viet Tung began their education in 1998 at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, where they earned their High School degree in 2001. Tran then attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance. In 2004, they also began taking courses at ACCA, which they completed in 2006.
