Mary Hatherly

Mary Hatherly is an experienced professional in stakeholder engagement and sustainability, currently serving as the Manager of Stakeholder Engagement at Marathon Gold since October 2019. Prior roles include Sustainability Advisor at Equinor Canada and Director of Inuit, Government & Stakeholder Relations at Baffinland. Additionally, Mary has held senior management positions focusing on Indigenous relations and legal agreements in organizations such as Hydro One and Nalcor Energy. With a strong legal background, Mary worked as a Solicitor for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as an Assistant Professor at the University of New Brunswick. Mary earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Constitutional Law from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Dalhousie University.
