Kassandra Ruiz has a diverse range of work experiences in the fields of art direction, graphic design, and marketing. Kassandra began their career as a Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in 2013 and later worked as a Bank Teller at Savings Bank of Danbury. In 2014, they became involved with the American Marketing Association, serving as Co-President and Vice President of Professional Development of the WCSU Collegiate Chapter. During this time, they gained experience in graphic design, event planning, and leadership. In 2015, they worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Crew Design Inc, further developing their design skills. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Creative Art Director at Sacks Communications, where they led a team and ensured brand consistency for various clients. Since 2019, they have been working at Marathon Strategies LLC, starting as a Senior Designer and progressing to positions of Art Director and Senior Art Director. In this role, they create and implements graphic designs for campaigns that contribute to the reputation and objectives of high-profile clients.
Kassandra Ruiz completed their education in a chronological order. Kassandra began their academic journey at Danbury High School, where they pursued a general studies program from 2006 to 2010. After graduating from high school, they attended Western Connecticut State University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Interactive Marketing. In 2017, Kassandra pursued further studies in the field of Graphic Design, earning a Certificate from Hunter College between 2017 and 2018. Finally, they enrolled in the Pratt Institute from 2020 to 2022, where they successfully completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Communication Design.
