Damian Sandler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Damian began their career in 2011 as a co-founder, Sales & Marketing Manager, and Hardware/Firmware Engineer at Smartway - Telematics Systems. There, they acquired customers, established strategic alliances, and managed the development and deployment of hardware and software products.

In 2013, Damian worked as a Sales Engineer at IN Switch Solutions, where they managed key customer accounts and contributed to winning international tender proposals for Mobile Money platform projects.

From 2013 to 2015, they served as an Undergrad Teacher at Universidad Católica del Uruguay, teaching a course on Architecture of Computers and redesigning course materials.

In 2014, Damian joined Micropagos as a Business Developer and led the discovery process to create a new payment gateway for LATAM. Damian also defined product and technical specifications and collaborated with various tech teams.

During their time as a Product Marketing Intern at Panorama Software in 2016, Damian analyzed the company's business intelligence platform and competitors' solutions. Damian recommended product improvements to the Marketing and Product teams.

From 2017 to 2018, Damian led a team of MBA students as a Business Development (MBA project) at Amdocs. Damian designed an innovative Smart Cities solution and received the highest evaluation from senior executives.

In 2018, Damian worked as a Product Manager at Bixlabs, where they managed web and mobile projects, led Discovery processes, and assisted startups in running Lean Startup experiments and Design Sprints.

From 2018 to 2020, they were a Product Manager Student at Product School, where they designed an MVP for a new social feature for Tinder and conducted validation experiments through interviews, surveys, and ads.

Most recently, Damian joined dLocal in 2020 as a Product Manager. In this role, they managed the implementation of Network Tokenization technology, resulting in increased payment approval rates, and led the development of a customer-facing product that automated SMBs onboarding, reducing overall onboarding time.

In 2022, Damian became the Head of Product at Marco, where they are currently utilizing their expertise and experience to lead the product team.

Damian Sandler has a diverse education history in the field of business and engineering. In 2019, they attended Kellogg Executive Education and obtained an Executive Certificate in Product Management. Prior to that, in 2017, Damian earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In 2016, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management. In the same year, they also received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Development from Tel Aviv University.

Before pursuing their business education, Damian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay, which they attended from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Damian has also obtained various certifications. Notably, in 2022, they completed the "Advanced Product Management: Leadership & Communication" program at Udemy and the "Agile with Atlassian Jira" course at Coursera. In 2019, they obtained the "Product Management Experience" certification from Kellogg Executive Education. In 2018, they completed the "Become a Product Manager" course at Udemy, the "Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals" program at Coursera, and the "Software Product Management (SPM®) Certificate" from Product School. Furthermore, in 2017, Damian completed the "Introduction to Software Product Management" course at Coursera.
