Ignacio del Rio

Ignacio Del Rio has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Associate at Rhone Group. From 2011 to 2021, they held various positions at Minería Activa - Private Equity, including Chief Executive Officer and Board Director. In 2013, they became a Founding Partner at Grupo Loa and also joined Activa Private Equity as a Director. In 2014, they became the President at MARCO Peruana. In 2016, they served as a Board Director at Minera Pampa Camarones S.A. In 2017, they joined Fen Ventures as a member of the Investment Committee. In 2021, they assumed the role of Non Executive Chair at Checkeados, and in 2022, they founded their own company, Legria.

Ignacio Del Rio holds an MBA degree in Business and Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management, which they earned from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, graduating with a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering in 2005. Their field of study during their undergraduate years was Information Technology.
