Ian Medeiros has a strong background in software development, with a focus on Android and Windows platforms. Ian started their career as a Scientific Initiation Researcher at UESC, where they conducted research in applied math and scientific computation. Ian then joined Fictix, a startup company, where they worked as a Software Engineer and was responsible for developing various challenging applications. After that, they joined PSafe Technology as a C++ Windows Developer, where they designed, developed, and maintained apps with a large user base. Ian later transitioned to the Mobile team at PSafe as an Android Developer, anticipating the company's pivot to the mobile market. Ian was eventually promoted to the position of Senior Android Developer, where they played a key role in developing core features for the company's mobile products. Ian then took on the role of Android Team Lead at PSafe, where they led the development of a specific product, implemented better android development practices, and achieved significant improvements in product metrics. Currently, they work as a Senior Software Engineer at Marco Polo.
Ian Medeiros obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
