Rob L.

Rob L.'s work experience begins in 1995 with Protection One, Corp. where they served as an Enterprise Exchange Administrator and Central Station Shift Supervisor. During their time at Protection One, their responsibilities included managing the Microsoft Exchange email server and Windows NT network, supervising a team of employees in processing emergency alarm signal traffic, and handling customer conflict resolution. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Demo Depot Systems Tech at Intel Corporation, refurbishing and managing Intel's Evaluation Program library. In 2003, they joined 3Leaf Solutions as a Technical Writer/IT Pro, creating training materials for Microsoft. Starting from 2004, Rob L. worked at Marcus & Millichap, initially as a Sr. Network Engineer and currently as an IS Security Manager. Additionally, they co-owned and brewed at Above the Bar Brewing from 2009 to 2021.

Rob L. attended Portland Community College from 1992 to 1993. During this time, they studied Computer Information Systems, Writing, and Accounting.

In terms of additional certifications, Rob obtained several certificates related to cybersecurity and ethical hacking. In 2018 and 2019, they completed courses in Ethical Hacking through Lynda.com and LinkedIn, covering topics such as website and web application testing, exploits, penetration testing, trojans and backdoors, and wireless networks.
