Elaine Burns

Elaine Burns is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management, marketing, and healthcare marketing. Currently serving as the MaREI ERBE CDT Programme Manager at MaREI since April 2022, Elaine leads initiatives focused on energy, climate, and marine research. Concurrently, Elaine holds the position of Marketing Director at Equinox Marketing & Branding since April 2019. Previous roles include Interim Programme Manager for ppinetwork.ie, EU Grants Officer at APC Microbiome Ireland, and various marketing positions at Recordati and Novartis, where Elaine specialized in cardiovascular and haematology sectors. Elaine holds multiple degrees from University College Cork, including a Master of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology and a Higher Diploma in Management & Marketing.
