Muhamad Taufan

Muhamad Taufan has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Muhamad is currently the Head of Retrocession and Statistics at PT. Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia, Tbk. since April 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Reinsurance Operation Analyst at PT Asuransi Adira Dinamika (Adira Insurance) from December 2020 to April 2021. Muhamad also served as a Reinsurance Supervisor at Allianz from March 2018 to December 2020, and gained experience in branch management at Asuransi Astra from October 2015 to March 2018. Their career started as a Junior Actuary (internship) at Amanah Githa Sharia Life Insurance from June 2013 to September 2013.

Muhamad Taufan attended the State University of Jakarta (Universitas Negeri Jakarta) from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained additional certifications. In 2018, they earned the ANZIIF (Assoc) CIP certification from ANZIIF. In 2019, they completed the Python For Data Science certification from Hacktiv8 Indonesia. Lastly, in 2020, they obtained the Python for Data Science Essential Training Part 1 certification from LinkedIn.
