Linda Jónsdóttir

Linda Jónsdóttir has extensive experience in various leadership and board roles. Linda started their career at Straumur Burdaras Investment Bank as a Senior Vice President Treasury from 2005 to 2009. Linda then joined Marel as a Corporate Director of Treasury and Investor Relations from 2009 to 2014. At Marel, they later served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2022 and currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer starting in 2022.

Linda has also been actively involved in several organizations, including serving as a Board member at the Enterprise Investment Fund from 2010 to 2015 and at Viðskiptaráð - Iceland Chamber of Commerce from 2016 to 2020. Linda is currently a Board Member at Íslandsbanki, where they recently became Chairman of the Board in 2023. Additionally, Linda holds a role as a Board Member at Íslandsbanki Science Park, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. Linda'sexperience showcases their expertise in finance, operations, and strategic leadership.

Linda Jónsdóttir has a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Reykjavik University, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Cand Oecon degree with a specialization in Finance at Háskóli Íslands, from 1997 to 2001.
