Nicholas Burke

Nicholas Burke has a diverse and extensive work experience in the commodities industry. Nicholas started their career at Harrowvale Group as a Director, where they managed marketing and trading for a family-run cropping group. Nicholas then joined Commonwealth Bank and held various roles, including Dealer and Associate Director, where they focused on agricultural commodities sales and trading.

In 2016, Nicholas joined Société Générale as Vice President and later became Director, responsible for OTC Agricultural Commodities Sales in North and South America. Nicholas'sexpertise included vanilla and exotic derivatives trading and managing client bases for grains, oilseeds, sugar, and coffee.

Currently, Nicholas is the Head of Commodities & FX Sales - APAC at Marex Solutions, the OTC-derivatives arm of the Marex Group. Nicholas leads a team servicing clients across multiple locations and specializes in cross-commodity trading in metals, agriculture, and energy.

Nicholas Burke completed their secondary education at The King's School in Sydney from 1998 to 2003. Nicholas then pursued higher education at the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree with a focus on Economics and International Relations.
