Megan Tormey

Megan Tormey has a diverse work experience in various human resources roles. Megan is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Maricopa Community Colleges since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Human Resources Director from October 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they led a team in establishing a new department called Client Services to support employees across the organization. Megan also worked as a Program Supervisor, Business Process & Special Projects from September 2018 to September 2019, where they led a team in driving operational excellence through process improvement and project management. Before joining Maricopa Community Colleges, they worked at Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) as a Human Resources Project Manager from June 2011 to July 2015. Megan also had a previous role as an HR Intern during their time at AHCCCS. Megan Tormey started their career as an Administrative Assistant at House Kaplan, CPAs, P.C. from January 2008 to June 2011.

Megan Tormey completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in International Business from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University between 2007 and 2011. Megan later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Strategic Human Resource Management at Grand Canyon University, graduating between 2015 and 2017.
