Tenaw Bawoke

Tenaw joined MSI Reproductive Choices as Deputy Country Director for the Ethiopia programme in 2018 and took on the role of Country Director for Malawi in 2021.

Tenaw’s leadership experience in the sexual and reproductive healthcare sector includes 3 years with Engender Health in Ethiopia, a year as a SRHR specialist for Save the Children, and 6 years as Program Director for the International Medical Corps in Ethiopia, Jordan and Philippines.

His knowledge of humanitarian and development operations enables him to deliver strategic SRHR responses in both crisis and stable settings.
