Sarah van Guilder

Sarah Van Guilder is an experienced emergency communications professional currently serving as an Emergency Communications Dispatcher at Marin County Sheriff's Office since September 2015. Previously, Sarah worked as a Communications Dispatcher for Central Marin Police Authority from May 2014 to September 2015. Sarah has a strong background in nonprofit management, having served as Senior Manager at the American Cancer Society from May 2010 to November 2013, where responsibilities included managing large volunteer groups, overseeing multiple fundraising events, and developing outreach plans. Additional experience includes roles as Program Coordinator for Teens Invested In Giving Hope to Teens and Event Manager for the Alzheimer's Association. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University-Long Beach, earned in 2009.
