Jacquelyn Shaff

Jacquelyn Shaff is an experienced ecologist and scientific program contractor at the Marine Mammal Commission, where employment began in April 2024 after serving as a Knauss Marine Policy Fellow at the same organization from February 2023 to February 2024. Prior to this role, Jacquelyn worked as a biologist at Cascadia Research Collective from June 2022 to February 2023, and was a graduate research assistant at the University of Washington from September 2020 to June 2022, focusing on marine and environmental affairs. Educational accomplishments include a master's degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis.
