Eleni Kontou

Eleni Kontou has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and research. Eleni is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at Kpler since 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at MarineTraffic starting from April 2023. Eleni also worked as a Data Engineer at MarineTraffic from January 2018 to April 2023. Before entering the industry, Eleni worked as a Researcher at Athens University of Economics and Business from October 2017 to January 2018. In this role, they focused on risk modeling for real estate applications, providing property valuations, risk analysis, generating indices and key performance indicators, and data visualization for real estate business.

Eleni Kontou pursued their education by first obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they enrolled at Athens University of Economics and Business to pursue a Master's degree in Statistics, which they completed from 2015 to 2017.
