Colin Leary

Colin Leary serves as General Counsel and oversees all legal affairs for MarinHealth Medical Center and MarinHealth Medical Network. Colin is a healthcare business attorney with extensive experience advising hospitals, health systems, physicians, management companies, and health care technology companies on a broad range of legal issues. He is a specialist in the structuring of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other affiliations, as well as the design of physician alignment strategies and compliance with privacy, fraud and abuse, and other industry regulations.

Prior to joining MarinHealth in 2021, Colin served as Chief Legal Officer of Altais, a healthcare management services and technology company, and as hospital counsel to the University of California, San Francisco. He came to UCSF from private practice as a healthcare transactional attorney at Jones Day, an international law firm.

Colin is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and DePauw University, and he is a member of the State Bar of California.
