Nyla Rock-Vanloo

Nyla Rock-Vanloo, LMSW, currently serves as a Sr. Learning Specialist at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, with additional roles including Learning and Development Specialist, Psychotherapist, and Education Coordinator. Since October 2020, Nyla has also been practicing as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice at Mariposa Therapy Services. Previous experience includes positions as Research Project Coordinator at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, Supervised Release Social Worker at the Center for Court Innovation, and Supervised Visit Social Worker at Sanctuary for Families. Nyla began a career in social work as an MSW Intern at HELP USA, providing therapy and crisis intervention for domestic violence survivors. Earlier roles include Clinical Case Manager at Center for Urban Community Services and Service Coordinator at SKIP of NY, focusing on case management for vulnerable populations. Nyla holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Agnes Scott College.
