Patricia Ferrer-Medina is an experienced academic in the field of Spanish language and literature, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Marist College since August 2010. Prior to this role, Ferrer-Medina was a Full-Time Lecturer of Spanish at Amherst College from September 2007 to May 2010, and a Graduate Fellow in Hispanic Studies at Trinity College - Hartford from September 2004 to May 2007. Early in the career, Ferrer-Medina held the position of Adjunct Lecturer at Rutgers University from September 2001 to May 2003, teaching courses in English literature. Patricia holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University, obtained in 2010, and completed a Post Baccalaureate in Classics at the University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2000.
