Larry Zorio

Larry Zorio is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Mark43. Larry has also previously held positions at YL Ventures, .406 Ventures, Qatch, and Smith & Nephew. From October 2018 to January 2022, they were the Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer at Smith & Nephew. Larry's responsibilities included building and leading high potential Information Security Teams while always pushing the innovation envelope to bring more value to business processes and balancing risk. Larry's areas of focus included medical device, product, and IoT security, identity and access management, identity access governance, threat intelligence, security operations center (SOC), user behavior analytics, security architecture (cloud, platform as a service, IAM), security DevOps, automation and orchestration, security awareness and training, IT controls and governance, risk assessments, compliance, NIST, ISO 27002, use centered design (UX), and innovation. From October 2012 to October 2018, they were the Global Director of Cyber-Security at Boston Scientific. From October 2010 to October 2012, they were an Information Security Specialist at Hallmark Health System, Inc.

Larry Zorio has a Masters of Science in Innovation from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Larry also has certification from (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and from ISACA in Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Larry Zorio reports to Scott Crouch, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Ganesha Martin - VP, Community Affairs & Public Policy, Stephen Okano - CTO, and Steve Hoffman - VP, People, Operations.
