Sue Davies

Sue Davies is an accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer at Markel, with diverse experience spanning over three decades in HR leadership and strategy. At Markel since October 2016, Sue has held several key titles including Managing Executive and Senior Director of Organization Development & Strategy. Prior experience includes serving as AVP of Talent Management at CarMax, VP of Global Learning and Organization Development at MeadWestvaco, and various senior HR positions at MeadWestvaco, AGI Media Europe, Syngenta, and Zeneca Agrochemicals. Sue holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Birmingham and a Postgraduate degree in Human Resources from the University of Portsmouth.
