Samantha Obre

Samantha Obre has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017. Samantha began their career as a Field Marketing Associate at Kamcord, where they focused on brand building, recruitment, and managing college ambassadors. Samantha also handled social media management and created marketing materials.

In 2017, Samantha joined Abacus Group, LLC as a Marketing Communications Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for various roles within the Human Resources, Office Support, Marketing, Sales, and Operations divisions.

Samantha went on to become an Executive Recruiter at Abacus Group, specializing in the placement of professionals in several fields, including Accounting & Finance, Financial Services, Human Resources, and Technology. Samantha was recognized for their contributions, and the firm was acknowledged as one of Forbes' America's Best Recruiting Firms.

Most recently, Samantha joined MarketAxess in 2022 as a Recruiter, where they are currently employed.

Samantha Obre's education history includes completing a Full-stack Web Development program at Flatiron School in 2018. Prior to that, they attended The University of Notre Dame Australia from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Communications and Media degree with a focus on Journalism.

In addition to their formal education, Samantha also obtained an Indoor Cycling Specialty Certification from Schwinn Fitness in January 2020.
