Vilma Vidal

Vilma Vidal began their work experience in 2019 as a Correctora Teoría de Código at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. From July 2019 to October 2021, they worked as a Security Administrative Assistant at Asociación Cibao de Ahorros y Préstamos, collaborating with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and maintain the Security Program. Vilma also collaborated with stakeholders in security project management.

In October 2021, they transitioned to the role of Cybersecurity Risk Analyst at the same company, where they managed information security risk assessment and evaluated risks within the company and its operations. In February 2022, they were promoted to Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, continuing their responsibilities until August 2023.

Starting in August 2023, Vilma Vidal will be working at MarketAxess as a Senior Analyst, Technology Risk. No end date is provided for this position.

Vilma Vidal completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. In 2018, they also attended ITLA and obtained a CCNA1 certification. In 2019, they furthered their knowledge by attending ITLA again and completing a CCNA2 course. In 2020, Vilma Vidal pursued a Diplomado de Seguridad at ITLA. Apart from their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including CCNA: Introduction to Networks from Cisco in July 2021, CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation from Cisco in June 2022, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA in August 2022, and (ISC)² Candidate from (ISC)² in November 2022.
