Candy Thomas

Candy Thomas is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and operations management. Currently serving as a Primary School Teacher at Portsdown Primary School since September 2019, Candy previously held the role of Operations Manager at Market Makers from April 2008, overseeing a team of Direct Marketing Managers and managing various campaigns for clients ranging from SMEs to large blue-chip companies. Candy's career at Market Makers began as a Direct Marketing Manager, where responsibilities included leading a team of telemarketers and ensuring KPI attainment. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Negotiator at Sequence/William H Brown and as a Team Manager at TLC Marketing, focusing on team management and sales performance. Candy holds a foundation degree in Leadership, Business, and Management, as well as a Business and Management degree from the University of Portsmouth, completed between 2011 and 2014.
