Eyal Aviv

Eyal Aviv has a strong background in software development and management. Eyal is currently working as a Back End Developer at MarketMan, focusing on restaurant inventory management. Prior to this, they spent over 10 years at Meuhedet HMO, where they held roles such as Senior Backend/Full Stack Developer and Web Software Developer. At Meuhedet HMO, they developed web applications and software components for medical and paramedical disciplines, as well as led efforts to migrate legacy systems to advanced software platforms. Earlier in their career, Eyal worked at Applied Materials as a Software Project Manager and Software Team Manager. Eyal managed the software migration project for the DR tool and led teams of software engineers, while also coding himself. Eyal also developed training programs for new programmers and application engineers.

Eyal Aviv completed their undergraduate education from 1991 to 1994 at Tel Aviv University, where they earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Mathematics. Eyal then pursued further studies at the same institution, earning their M.A. in History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas from 1999 to 2006. Later, from 2010 to 2013, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem for their Ph.D. in Communication and Media Studies.
