Patrick Burns has held various positions in the telecom and technology industries since 1994. Patrick began their career as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte & Touche, followed by a Senior Accountant role at Oki Developments. In 1999, they moved to LinksTime.com as VP of Operations. In 2001, they joined AT&T Mobility as Director of Equipment Planning, where they managed a 9-figure Equipment Incentives budget for consumer acquisitions and produced a 9-figure savings. Patrick was then promoted to Director of Device Product Management, followed by Executive Director of National Marketing. In 2010, they joined Brightstar Corp. as Global Vice President, where they oversaw all aspects of the global Buyback & Trade-In business and expanded the collections of used devices from 6M to 10M. In 2020, they were appointed VP of Implementation & Delivery at Brightstar Corp. and Chief Operating Officer at MarketSpark, Inc., where they are responsible for Supply Chain, Service Delivery, Commercial Management, Operations and managing strategic partnerships.
Patrick Burns obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business in 1994, majoring in Business Administration - Accounting. Patrick then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University in 2005, with a focus on Business Administration, Management and Operations. In 1997, they were certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
